I’ve been in yacht sales for 20 years and I work every day with clients looking for different types of boats. So I’ll speak here from a professional point of view, about a model that genuinely impressed me. That impression is even stronger because in the last five years I’ve been focused almost exclusively on the day-cruiser and sporty motor yacht philosophy – boats like the Wally 48 – so I view this one through that lens.

That is exactly my experience, and that’s why I’m transferring that enthusiasm to the Wally Tender 48.

This model is all about outdoor living and enjoyment: a large sunpad aft, another one forward, and a very direct contact with the sea. The cabin below deck is surprisingly spacious and comfortable, and the head and shower have standing height for almost all users. As for engines and equipment, it is practically perfect and highly functional. The boat has excellent performance, the hull is made of carbon fibre and well insulated, so the engines, generator and stabilizer run very quietly. And then there are the luxury details such as carbon handrails, carbon flooring and the steps leading below. With the Volvo joystick, plus options like the Dynamic Positioning System, manoeuvring in marinas is almost perfect.

So, in every sense, I’m sharing my own experience and enthusiasm for the Wally Tender 48 – a boat that can be seen as a luxury day boat, but also as a weekend cruiser, because you really can spend several days on board.
