Sunseeker 82 Ocean Enclosed

Sunseeker 82 OCEAN ENCLOSED – A NEW MEASURE OF COMFORT

Sunseeker 82 Ocean Enclosed combines the appeal of a luxury penthouse with the functionality of a true cruising yacht, delivering what today’s owners want most: more space, more light, and more time on the water

The Sunseeker 82 Ocean Enclosed is a yacht that clearly signals a new direction for the brand – instead of a conventional layout, everything here is geared toward a generous, light-filled interior and a penthouse-like experience on the water. With this design approach, the yacht offers around 1,770 square feet (about 165 m²) of internal space across three levels. Thanks to the fully enclosed upper deck and a single helm station, it also retains ample exterior lounging areas.

Power comes from twin MAN engines – either the V8 1300 or the more powerful V12 1650 – giving this 25-metre yacht a comfortable cruising speed of up to 25 knots. Stabilisation can be specified with either fin or gyro systems, so the yacht remains composed both underway and at anchor, which is important when staying on board for several days.

Outdoor living spaces

On deck, the 82 Ocean Enclosed is laid out to provide several distinct outdoor “pockets” for socialising. Forward of the enclosed pilothouse there is a lounge area with fixed seating or, optionally, a spa tub, while aft on the upper deck there is a second outdoor area with space for free-standing furniture, a built-in wet bar and a BBQ.

The foredeck is clean, with anchoring gear hidden below deck; the starboard-side opposing seating can be converted into a sunpad, and a compact wet bar with sink and fridge is close at hand – ideal when the yacht is at anchor.

At the stern, Sunseeker’s signature Beach Club is available with the award-winning X-TEND™ convertible seating, which can face forward at cockpit level or aft at bathing-platform level, together with a second built-in BBQ and a hydraulic hi-lo platform capable of carrying a tender (such as the Williams 435 SportJet). A hydraulic sea stair can also be specified to make getting in and out of the water even easier for the whole family.

Penthouse-style interior

The interior is where the “Enclosed” concept truly comes to life. Layouts have been conceived to minimise fixed furniture and to keep flooring on a single level wherever possible, making both customisation and movement on board easier.

The main-deck saloon is on a single level, with full-height glazing and a 360-degree outlook, so the atmosphere is closer to a luxury apartment than to a traditional yacht saloon. Sunseeker offers several layout options: the galley can be open, dining can be positioned aft, a bar area can be placed forward, and the large L-shaped sofa and TV can be arranged forward or aft depending on the chosen concept. Port and starboard sliding doors connect the saloon directly with the exterior decks, while the central glazed floating staircase is deliberately discreet so it doesn’t interrupt the views.

Every view from the saloon ends on the water, and that’s one of the strongest assets of this yacht

Owner and guest accommodation

A particularly attractive option is the main-deck owner’s stateroom, with direct foredeck access through wide sliding doors, a king-size bed set athwartships, en suite to starboard and wardrobe/dressing to port. Alternatively, the owner’s stateroom can be located on the lower deck, full beam, with ample storage, a vanity and an en suite with twin basins.

Forward, the lower deck also comprises a VIP cabin and two guest cabins; the port cabin can be configured as a twin with sliding berths, so the yacht can accommodate up to ten guests in complete comfort. The lower deck is once again on a single level between all cabins, which is unusual for a yacht of this size and makes moving around on board easier.

Finishes and crew

For the 82 Ocean Enclosed, Sunseeker is introducing a new, curated selection of fabrics and finishes in light and dark schemes, developed once again in collaboration with Design Unlimited, so that all interior spaces feel cohesive and contemporary. Crew accommodation for up to three is located forward of the engine room, with built-in appliances and worktop space for self-sufficient operation on longer cruises or in charter service.
