Seadeck 7 and Fly 62: Azimut’s Big Wins at the 2024 World Yacht Trophies in Cannes

At this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, Azimut Yachts achieved remarkable success at the prestigious World Yachts Trophies 2024 ceremony. On Saturday, September 14, the Azimut Fly 62 won the award for Best Layout, while the Azimut Seadeck 7 was recognized for Best Exterior Design.

Just days after winning the award for Best Exterior Design, the new Azimut Seadeck 7 will make its Italian debut at the 2024 Genoa International Boat Show, alongside the Seadeck 6 and the award-winning Fly 62. The new Fly 62 also received prestigious accolades at the World Yachts Trophies during the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Seadeck 7 is a stylish hybrid sports yacht equipped with Volvo IPS engines, capable of reaching speeds of up to 30 knots. As part of Azimut’s hybrid Seadeck series, this yacht features advanced technology that reduces emissions by up to 40%. Its ‘fun island’ cockpit layout provides exceptional outdoor space at sea level, and when the large windows are fully opened, the 21.7-meter (71-foot) yacht creates a seamless connection between its interior and exterior spaces.

The new Azimut Fly 62 won the Best Layout award at the recent event. This 19.2-meter flybridge yacht features three plus one cabins and can reach speeds of up to 30 knots with Volvo IPS engines. Its innovative ‘beach cockpit’ design opens towards the sea, creating a spacious sunbathing area with no physical or visual barriers. Exterior designer Alberto Mancini and interior designer Fabio Fantolino joined the Azimut team to celebrate this success.
