Through synergy of ideas, joint effort and mutual support, extraordinary results are achieved. Looking back, Sanlorenzo Adria company recorded fantastic results, and looking ahead to the future, it is clear that this dream team is making resolute steps into another victory.

In order to gain a first-hand insight, rather than just a hint, we spoke with “the first among equals”, Mr. Franz Schillinger, CEO of the Sanlorenzo Adria company, but also with a lady who made a special contribution to this maritime company. Sanja Božović, the first female broker of luxury vessels in our region and representative of the Sanlorenzo Adria company for Montenegro and Serbia, will present herself to the readers of Nautika magazine for the first time, providing at the same time answers to the questions regarding selection of the ideal yacht – “tailor-made”!

IT SEEMS THAT YOU CAN BE MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH THE BUSINESS RESULTS OF SANLORENZO ADRIA IN THE YEAR THAT IS BEHIND US. WHAT ARE THE SUCCESSFUL ACTIVITIES THAT YOU WOULD SINGLE OUT FROM THE PAST YEAR?

We had a very successful Cannes Yachting Festival. The Sanlorenzo presentation showed very clearly why this shipyard is the most successful single-brand yacht builder on the market. But it’s not just the presentation at boat shows that counts. We have an excellent sales-, back office- and customer service team led by our sales manager Cornelius Kistler, who as a Swiss citizen, works like Swiss clockwork.
In 2023 we delivered new Sanlorenzo yachts in the Adriatic to Austrian, Slovenian and Croatian customers. In 2024, we will deliver new Sanlorenzo yachts also to Serbian customers thanks to our sales manager Sanja Bozovic, a hard-working lady and our most successful saleswoman.

IN WHAT DIRECTION WILL SANLORENZO ADRIA SAIL IN 2024?

We will continue our expansion and want to be even closer to our customers. We are planning to open new offices in Porto Montenegro, Split and maybe even Belgrade.

As the economy of the region grows, so does the pool of potential buyers for Sanlorenzo yachts. The brand’s reputation as a high-end luxury provider attracts an increasing number of individuals who want to elevate their yachting experience. Having said that, most of Sanlorenzo buyers are very knowledgeable yacht owners. It’s not the first yacht they are buying.

IS THE DOMESTIC MARKET STARTING TO SURPRISE IN TERMS OF PURCHASE OF LUXURY YACHTS, AS BUYERS WERE MOSTLY FOREIGNERS EARLIER?

Wanting to have a top-notch yacht isn’t exclusive to international buyers anymore; locals are increasingly recognizing the appeal and making their mark in the world of high-end yachts and it’s a part of a broader trend. Historically, many yacht builders, especially in places like France, have already reached their peak in terms of yachting interest. Now, the spotlight is turning towards countries like Serbia, Croatia, Czech rep, Hungary. Yacht builders worldwide are becoming increasingly aware that our time is on the rise. Therefor they are selective who will represent them, Sanlorenzo Adria fulfil that gap, let’s say.
