The fully electric version of Range Rover Sport brings advanced technologies, a new chassis tune, and greater dynamism and speed than ever before

Range Rover has confirmed the forthcoming arrival of its second EV, Range Rover Sport Electric. Following the much-anticipated Range Rover Electric, which has been previewed at a series of curated events over the British Summer Season, Range Rover Sport Electric brings a new interpretation of the luxury electric SUV segment. It retains the unmistakable, muscular form of Range Rover Sport, now paired with an electric powertrain that, according to the manufacturer, delivers effortless, visceral performance.

Range Rover Sport Electric was presented for the first time at a private preview during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. In a nod to the pioneering performance legacy of Range Rover Sport, from the 999-step ascent to Heaven’s Gate in China to the climb of an Icelandic spillway, the prototype tackled a series of driving challenges at the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

The new electric model integrates a suite of advanced technologies that deliver more power and torque, complemented by a new chassis tune and a distinctive audio experience, creating a drive that is equally expressive and visceral across different types of terrain.

The addition of electric propulsion later this year will complete the Range Rover Sport powertrain lineup, which includes a plug-in electric hybrid, a mild-hybrid V8 gasoline engine, and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, giving clients a broader choice of powertrain options. The new Range Rover Sport Electric has been calibrated to deliver the same thrilling, engaging drive that defines the sportiest expression of the brand.
