Rockstar Yachts is introducing the new Prestige X70 (2024) motor yacht, now available for sale in Porto Montenegro with a scheduled delivery in January 2024
Prestige is revolutionising motor yacht design with its X70 by doing away with side decks to create a full-beam saloon, while also giving more space to a longer cockpit
This luxurious crossover was created in the spirit of a superyacht, offering endless possibilities and blurring the line between the exterior and the interior. Based on volume, circulation, and light, the all-new concept for this yacht allows you to benefit from the full beam, reinventing the space on board for an incredible experience.
Life aboard the Prestige X70 is a unique blend of the comforts of a luxurious villa and the pleasures of life at sea. This yacht is a revolutionary combination of innovative layout, bold lines, and enhanced comfort. It is not only the most innovative flybridge yacht of its category, but also the most spacious yacht of its generation. Entertainment spaces flow throughout the flybridge and main deck, and the large master stateroom occupies the entire front of the boat, ensuring comfort and tranquility.
Prestige and Garroni Design have reworked the typical proportions of a yacht by removing the side decks, which enables the X70’s interior to use about 90 per cent of its 17ft 6in beam instead of the typical 70 per cent, according to Prestige.
Furthermore, far more room has been dedicated to the ‘infinity’ cockpit, which is mostly shaded by the flybridge and can be completely covered with a retractable awning. According to initial renderings and deck plans, the cockpit features fixed sofas on either side, while the central area can include loose furniture, sun loungers and a dining table.
Saloon options include an L-shaped sofa to port and either a dining table or a sofa with convertible table to starboard, and both sides have electric opening windows. Forward is a central galley before steps lead up to the helm station, which is flanked by two seating areas. Starboard of the galley and helm station is a side door that leads either to the foredeck, a flat area with optional lounge pads, or aft upstairs to the flybridge.
The flybridge has four sets of stairs – two to the foredeck and two aft to the cockpit – and an open aft area that can feature modular sun loungers.
Further forward, the hardtop with sunroof covers an entertainment galley, portside dining table for six to eight people, twin-seat helm station and a large L-shaped sofa to starboard.
Prestige has also changed the lower-deck layout for a yacht this size by putting the master suite in the bow, with a forward-facing double bed and a private staircase. The full-beam VIP is midships, with the option of another full-beam double or two twins forward.
In some areas, the Prestige Yachts X70 feels like a larger yacht. The aft deck, for instance, has exterior space almost equivalent to that found on 100-plus-footers.
Abaft the salon doors, there’s a covered dining table for six guests and a center sun-pad lounge with side sofas to match. Everyone can be on the deck, protected from the sun or not, but all relaxing on the plush furniture and sun pads (with stowage below). The individual, lead-weighted backrests can be used in any position. Another nice touch is the glass transom mounted in Prestige’s custom metal framing. Getting closer to the water is no problem, either. Twin stair- cases lead to the hydraulic swim platform, that can be used as a beach club or launching spot for water toys. And there’s no need to stand and keep watch when the kids are in the water; an electrically actuated fold-down transom seat doubles as another sun pad for a more comfortable lookout perch.
The Prestige X70 offers bold design elements with construction executed at a high level. The blend of performance, style and first-rate finish make this flybridge yacht worth considering a crossover move.
