From June 5 to 7, Portonovi Marina will be the starting point for a regatta that follows some of Boka Bay’s most recognizable scenery, with a competitive program and evening gatherings
Portonovi Marina will once again host the Portonovi Regatta “Boka Islands” from June 5 to 7, an event that, now in its seventh edition, brings together sailors, sea lovers, and all those who cherish the maritime spirit of the Bay of Kotor.
During the three-day program, participants will sail a route that includes some of the most beautiful and recognizable locations in Boka Bay, including Our Lady of the Rocks and the island of Saint George. Alongside the competition itself, the regatta will also feature a rich accompanying program with music and social gatherings.
The program begins on Friday, June 5, with a gathering of participants and guests on the terrace of the Yacht Club at Portonovi Marina, accompanied by welcome drinks and a performance by saxophonist Nikola Ralević.
The competitive part of the regatta will take place on Saturday and Sunday, while the mornings in the marina will traditionally be marked by a performance by Local Brass Orchestra Đenović, followed by skippers’ meetings and race starts.
Saturday evening is reserved for Vista Square, where a wine evening will be organized with a performance by Senkina Djeca Band. The final evening of the regatta, on Sunday, will include the award ceremony and dinner at Malo Ribarsko Selo restaurant, accompanied by a performance by DJ Funk You.
Year after year, the Portonovi Regatta “Boka Islands” confirms the importance of Portonovi Marina on the regional nautical scene, while promoting sailing, maritime tradition, and the natural beauty of the Bay of Kotor.
