At an official event in Murter, attended by media representatives and partners, the town unveiled its flagship pre-season festivals – Murterska promenada and Murter Restaurant Week. These events will transform Murter and the Kornati Islands into a gastro-nautical hotspot from May 23 to June 1, 2025
Gastro-nautical spectacle in the heart of the Adriatic
Attendees explored festival locations in Murter and sampled dishes at Restaurant Fabro and Konoba Boba, followed by a boat trip to the iconic Kornati taverns Opat and Smokvica. Restaurant Week: 10 days of curated menus and top wines
Starting May 23, more than 20 top restaurants from Murter and the Kornati archipelago will offer exclusive festival menus at promotional prices. The offer includes premium domestic wines, and several exclusive dinners and culinary events will be held throughout the week.
Murterska promenada: Yachts, flavors, and music from May 30 to June 1
From May 30 to June 1, central Murter will become a true festival zone. Floating exhibition pontoons will be installed in the port, providing additional space for showcasing boats. Boat shuttles to Kornati restaurants – no yacht required
In cooperation with local boat operators, regular circular shuttle routes will connect Murter with all participating restaurants in the Kornati archipelago. This allows non-nautical visitors to explore Kornati’s food and wine offerings at affordable rates, making the festival more accessible to everyone.
A new Adriatic hot spot for yachting and gastronomy
The overall aim of these events is to position Murter and the Kornati Islands as a leading gourmet micro-destination on the Adriatic, with a strong focus on nautical tourism and culinary heritage. With Murterska promenada and Murter Restaurant Week, the region is stepping into the spotlight.
