The Merry Fisher 1295 FLY is the flagship of the historic Merry Fisher line and Jeanneau’s answer to family cruising that stretches beyond a single weekend. Designed by Jeanneau Design and Centkowski & Denert Design, it features signature hull windows and expansive saloon glazing that opens the view to the water. On the flybridge you have the helm station, space for sunbathing and a perfect spot for evening cocktails, with the sense of privacy you look for when anchored in a quiet bay.
Everything on deck is geared to outdoor living. The aft cockpit opens to the sea thanks to an electric side terrace on the starboard side, a sliding aft bench and a practical side gate in the rail. A wide sliding side door by the helm speeds docking and crew movement. Forward, three integrated sunpads create a full relaxation area, while the flybridge adds another open-air lounge with an unobstructed view over the anchorage.
The interior is designed for extended stays: three cabins – an owner’s cabin forward with its own en-suite head and separate shower, and two guest cabins amidships that share a second head, also with a separate shower. The saloon offers a full lounge layout with a galley by the aft sliding glass doors to the cockpit, bringing in abundant natural light and smart stowage throughout. The wheelhouse delivers excellent visibility, while a starboard side door makes stepping onto the side deck easy and keeps docking calm and precise. Seanapps onboard telemetry monitors key systems and helps plan service.
Three cabins, a flybridge and a terrace at sea for weekends that last longer
Propulsion comes from three outboard engines delivering up to 900 HP in total, with steady trim and even running at cruising speeds. Handling is aided by a joystick, automatic trim tabs and a bow thruster (option). Navigation is based on Garmin electronics packages with multifunction MFD displays, and the audio system can be upgraded to a premium level (Fusion).
Who is the 1295 FLY for? It’s for families and friends who want the feel of a big yacht in a manageable 12.5-metre frame – three private cabins, a flybridge, a side terrace, and a lifestyle shaped by the sea rather than the schedule.
