Invictus TT550

Invictus TT550: FOR THOSE WHO LIVE THE SEA

Every line of the TT550 highlights what already makes Invictus instantly recognizable: a Mediterranean spirit, a sculpted bow, and a yacht that naturally belongs at sea rather than alongside the quay

With the TT460, the TT range from Invictus Yacht made its intentions clear: a tender that grows beyond the role of a support boat to become an independent, luxurious day cruiser for extended time on the water. Since then, the TT line has become a kind of signature for the brand – Mediterranean style, a strong visual identity, and boats that feel most at home at anchor, not in the marina.

Building on that foundation, the Invictus TT550 steps in as the new “big player” from Cantieri Aschenez. At 16.87 meters in length and 5.04 meters in beam, the TT550 takes over as the flagship of the range and feels like the natural next step after the TT460: the same design DNA by Christian Grande, but with more of everything that matters at sea – especially open-air living space.

Design Recognizable From Afar

The semi-reverse bow is once again a clear Invictus signature, but on the TT550 it appears even more taut and sculptural. High bulwarks protect the walkaround deck and give the yacht a confident, secure stance on the water.

A carbon-fiber hardtop stretches from the helm over the cockpit, providing shade and protection without blocking the view. The deck remains open, with an uninterrupted horizon and the constant feeling of being in touch with the sea. Combined with the light hull color and warm upholstery tones, the TT550 manages to look both sporty and discreetly luxurious.

Aft as a Living Area, the Sea Within Reach

From the stern, you step down onto a submersible platform that extends the cockpit under way, and becomes a beach area and working platform for the tender and water toys at anchor. Above it sits a large aft bench in the cockpit; its backrests fold easily, turning the entire area into a generous sunbed. Below this section is the tender garage, positioned so it can be accessed even when the sunbed is in use.

The side terraces fold down and transform the cockpit into a wider, floating terrace directly above the water. In practice, this means the TT550 gains a significantly larger usable area at anchor, with a clear impression of being on a floating pontoon more often seen on much larger yachts. For swimming, lunch, or time on board with friends, this aft layout is exactly what makes the difference.

The TT550 made its world debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. It has already been shortlisted for the European Powerboat of the Year 2026, in the 14–18 m category, confirming that Invictus is aiming higher with this model in terms of design, build quality, functionality, and technical solutions

Spacious Foredeck for the Whole Day

The high bulwarks lead to the foredeck, conceived as a true open-air lounge: a U-shaped sofa with a hi-lo table, extended sunpads, and the option of shade provided by awnings supported by carbon-fiber poles. By day, this becomes the main spot for sunbathing and relaxed dining; in the evening, it turns into a more intimate corner with discreet lighting along the edges.

This layout clearly underlines the philosophy of the TT range: exterior spaces come first, while the interior, though important, plays a secondary role. The TT550 is, above all, a yacht for outdoor living – the day belongs to the deck, and the interior belongs to the calm that follows a day at sea.

Interior for Weekends on the Water

Below deck, the TT550 in standard form offers two cabins – owner and VIP – served by two separate bathrooms. The master cabin can be placed forward or amidships, in the part of the hull that moves least in a seaway. Between the cabins there is a space offered as a lower lounge, which can be converted into a third cabin, or used to relocate the galley below if an even cleaner, more open layout is desired on the main deck.

There is also an optional crew cabin, bringing the TT550 closer to the standards of larger yachts and allowing it to operate as a chase boat or tender for a superyacht, with a permanent crew on board. Fuel tanks of 2,200 l, a 500 l fresh water tank, and a 330 l black water tank, combined with CE Category B and a capacity of up to 14 people, clearly show that the TT550 goes beyond the definition of a simple day boat. It is a platform for long weekends, shorter cruises, and serious time at sea without constantly returning to port.

Engines and Technology

The TT550 is designed for a pair of Volvo Penta IPS diesel engines, from the IPS800 up to the IPS950 version, delivering up to around 1,450 hp in total. With this propulsion, the yacht benefits from all the typical IPS advantages: reduced fuel consumption compared to traditional shaft drives, easier maneuvering in the marina using a joystick, and a smoother, more predictable ride at higher speeds.

Broker listings already show the TT550 available with complete navigation packages (radar, autopilot, large multifunction displays), generator, air conditioning, premium audio systems, and optional gyroscopic stabilization – equipment that places this model, in terms of comfort and technology, shoulder to shoulder with serious yachts in its class.

Who the TT550 Is For

The Invictus TT550 is aimed at an owner who sees the sea as an extension of their living room in the open air, and who naturally prefers an anchorage to a berth. If the TT range represents the “open face” of the brand, the TT550 is currently its clearest, most exciting expression – a yacht for those who truly live the sea, for whom the first swim at dawn and the last light on the horizon matter more than spending time in a large saloon.
