With the sporty soul and comfort of a superyacht, the 440 Regina aims to strengthen the already recognizable style that is at the very core of the DNA of the Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi shipyard
Designed for a dynamic life on board and a safe and pleasant navigation, FIM 440 is characterized by the transformable external spaces protected by an integrated Hard Top and fully openable in the upper part thanks to a carbon system with rotating slats. The Hard Top, in perfect harmony with the stylistic features of the hull, has been studied with references to the automotive industry, to give a sense of dynamism and lightness, enhanced with steel details and side inserts in backlit glass.
In order to maximize comfort and expand the livability of the boat, various movements have been inserted in the bulwarks such as the folding terraces in the cockpit, the stern lift platform and a retractable gangway. While, at the bow, together with the large sundeck, we find an innovative solution that allows the usual mooring area to be transformed into a comfortable and additional relaxation area. The cockpit houses a dining area with two sofa face-to-face and a central folding table for conversion into a sundeck, large cushions, a galley unit and the steering position.
FIM shipyard is one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing companies in the Italian nautical industry. The yachts signed by FIM, combine luxury and sportiness, elegance and performance in a perfect balance
OASIS OF RELAXATION AND ENTERTAINMENT
The interiors on FIM 440 Regina stand out for their large spaces with a height of two meters. Volumes that guarantee the centrality of natural light to make the most of exclusive and design environments, capable of being exploited at any time and in a versatile way. The layout includes a spacious and fully equipped galley, a bow dinette that can be easily transformed, two bathrooms with separate communicating shower and a master cabin aft with surprising height and volumes for a boat of this size. The versatility of the rooms is guaranteed by the presence of a closable wall in the bow, which guarantees the separation of the rooms and creates two large cabins, both with private access to the bathroom.
FIRST IN THE NAUTICAL INDUSTRY TO USE RECYCLED CARBON FIBER
With the new 440 Regina, FIM confirms itself as an innovator and forerunner in the use of recycled carbon fiber for the construction of the superstructures. In fact, the development of innovative yachts cannot ignore the study of components that are light, rigid and, today, also eco-sustainable. Used for years in the aeronautical and racing and super car sectors, carbon fiber guarantees not only lightness, but also great rigidity and stability even at high temperatures.
For this reason it is advantageous for the construction of superstructures and hard tops, positioned in the upper part of yachts and often colored in dark shades. For the construction of the FIM 440 Regina, in particular, the shipyard decided to use carbon fiber made with the technology developed by Recarbon of Busto Arsizio in partnership with CBS, which involves the regeneration of fiber from the aeronautical sector.
