Boot Dusseldorf, Europe’s largest indoor boat show, is a true highlight of the boating calendar. At this year’s event Fairline will be showcasing an exhilarating line-up of new and industry-leading models, including the European Debut of the new Squadron 58 and World Premiere of the new Targa 40
SQUADRON 58
The Squadron 58 sets a new standard with unmistakably modern designs and unique innovations, crafted with the same exceptional luxury and craftsmanship expected from Fairline. The exterior design embraces the styling cues of iconic Squadrons of the past with the legendary triple-fin detail incorporated into the superstructure aft quarters.
Most notably, the Squadron 58 comes with a highly desirable beach club option, a first for Fairline. Consisting of hydraulic fold-down balconies on both the port and starboard sides, an innovative new design for the high/low transom bathing platform, flexible and modular cockpit seating which allows for a bespoke arrangement that suits you, complemented with a glass transom to enhance your connection to the water.
The main deck has been designed with sociability in mind, featuring an almost 360-degree view of the surroundings. Throughout the design, there is a continuous indoor/outdoor feel. In another first for Fairline, the cockpit and saloon are separated by an angled patio door, which ensures the flybridge staircase does not encroach into either the cockpit or interior space.
The flybridge features a spacious sun pad aft, wet bar, plenty of seating, hardtop with sunroof and wrap-around glazing to allow for uninterrupted views.
The lower deck is designed with three cabins and two heads.
TARGA 40
Embracing a bold exterior design direction, with a modern bluff-bow hull, and a contemporary and stylish interior, the Targa 40 delivers a sophisticated and modern yet sporty style sure to delight every owner.
The Targa 40 has an open cockpit design with a hardtop and electric canvas sunroof, opening the whole main deck. Echoing the lines and extensive glazing seen across the Fairline range, the Targa 40 floods the interior with natural light and uninterrupted views of the water.
This sleek hard top sportscruiser shares a number of design features with both the smaller F//Line 33 and the all-new Fairline Phantom 65 as well as a few tricks of its own, including a drop-down terrace that extends the deck space and improves the views out.
With four berths in a two-cabin layout, below deck replicates the sophisticated furnishings and flawless design on the main deck. The roomy master cabin is located forward with 1.98 m headroom and direct access to the en-suite which features a jack-and-jill door arrangement. In the mid-ship’s guest cabin, twin beds slide to convert to a double.
The integrated garage boasts room for tenders of up to 2.7 m with electric outboard. Owners will have the choice of either a Volvo Penta D6-340s or D6-380s, which Fairline expects to deliver top end speeds of 32 knots and 36 knots respectively.
TARGA 45 GT
With a thrilling and award-winning pedigree, the Targa 45 GT does of course, have a lot to live up to. Fairline expert designers and craftsman have ensured beautiful styling inside and out, to take it beyond these expectations. Because when you have the renowned Fairline DNA in every line and curve, you demand everything to be in perfect harmony.
Take your time on planning the day ahead from the luxury of the configurable cockpit. Enjoy the warmth of the sun while relaxing on the large sunbeds. And later, as the afternoon becomes evening, launch the tender from the garage and head to your preferred dinner spot, knowing that when you return, the Targa 45 GT will welcome you back for a night of rest and recharging.
With Volvo IPS 650 engines, there is an outstanding performance that the Targa 45 GT is waiting for you to experience. Set a course for whatever private beach or part of the ocean you want to call yours for a while and head there, safe in the knowledge that any journey will be a simple and effortless one.
PHANTOM 65
Fairline’s first ever ‘sportsbridge’ yacht, takes the external form of the award-winning Targa 65 and adds a revised windowline and a low-slung fly deck to the mix for tri-deck flexibility alongside a beautifully streamlined sportscruiser aesthetic.
Mancini designed the 65-ft. tri-deck with flexibility in mind. On the main deck, sliding glass doors separate the cockpit from the two-tiered salon, allowing the two spaces to connect seamlessly when the weather is fine. The wraparound galley with a bar, generous counter space and a full-height refrigerator-freezer are nice residential touches.
As one luxurious space flows effortlessly into the next, thanks to dynamic diagonal lines and an array of beautifully handcrafted materials, you can relax knowing wherever you are onboard, you’ll feel perfectly at peace. And with up to four cabins, there is no shortage of luxury accommodation.
As the Phantom name suggests, the boat backs up its sporty good looks with two engine options—twin Caterpillar C18-1150’s with a 31-knot top end, according to Fairline, or twin V12 Caterpillar C32-1622’s with an estimated top end of 35 knots. The impressive performance is matched with enough volume at the stern for a tender garage capable of storing a Williams 345 SportJet.
