Envisioned as a modern apartment untethered to any single location, it brings the kind of everyday ease that turns travel into a routine you genuinely look forward to. Mornings are made for coffee and the view, and a sense of security remains present even when the sea changes its mood. Autonomy is built into the onboard living concept, with a clear plan behind every detail.
Design and Concept
Explorer 62 Fly stands out with a modern, timeless look: clean lines, confident proportions, and solutions that make sense both under way and in everyday life on board. The overall concept is by Centrostiledesign, responsible for the exterior, interior, and naval architecture, with a focus on an “innovative layout” that elevates life on board. In practice, that means clearly defined zones for socializing and privacy, easy circulation, and a sense of space even when the yacht is full of guests.
The construction reinforces that idea: the hull is built in GRP composite, while the superstructure is made of carbon fiber, with an unloaded displacement of 30 t.
Luxury You Actually Use
From the first step on board, the impression is clear: light, openness, and a sense of calm. Quality materials, refined finishes, and ergonomic planning create a true home on the water, equally enjoyable for short escapes and longer passages.
The cabins offer privacy without feeling confined. The salon is functional and welcoming, made for slow mornings and long evenings. Above it all, the flybridge becomes the social heart of the yacht, a place for relaxation, conversation, and that simple ritual of watching the horizon.
The lower deck is arranged in a three-cabin configuration (a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin, and a guest cabin), with layout options up to four cabins, plus a separate crew cabin, depending on equipment and intended use.
For Cruising and Longer Routes
Explorer 62 Fly is designed for real cruising. Seakeeping, stability, and contemporary technical solutions provide a sense of confidence even as conditions change. On board, the experience stays quiet and composed, even when the route becomes more ambitious.
Autonomy is part of the concept, both in terms of onboard energy and the day-to-day logistics of life at sea. Powered by 2 × Volvo Penta IPS800, it reaches a top speed of 20 knots, with a cruising speed around 15 knots. Range is 400 to 600 nautical miles, depending on the chosen cruising speed. Fuel capacity is 2,800 L, and fresh water capacity is 900 L.
