At the beginning of October, the Defender hosted an authentic “raw” event for their guests in the beautiful mountain setting of Divčibare. Over the course of two days, with the sound of the wind and the scent of conifers, their visitors enjoyed an unforgettable experience – driving on the mountain slopes during the day was rounded off with a spectacular al fresco dinner, with a wonderful view of pristine nature.
The Defender is a purpose-built car, designed to thrill and drive you to remote and less accessible places. Off-road driving is a real pleasure with it, and the special adaptability to all types of terrain makes even the long journeys comfortable. The durable new D7x structure is designed to withstand the testing process in extreme conditions and exceeds normal SUV standards.

The intelligent off-road technology named Land Rover Terrain Response 2 has been improved with the new Wade program, while the Configurable Terrain Response technology allows drivers to adjust the settings more precisely. All this makes the vehicle capable of extraordinary endeavors.
LOCATION AND ENVIRONMENT
Mount Maljen was chosen because of its specific geographical position – air masses from the Mediterranean and the Carpathians meet here, which is why the air is rich in iodine, and the climate is pleasant and mild. Visitors felt relaxed and invigorated, while the challenging terrain was ideal for a Defender test drive.
During the day, guests drove through dense grassy areas surrounded by beech and fir forests. After dark, they became guests at a carefully planned dinner under the stars.

EXCLUSIVE AL FRESCO DINNER
Renowned Belgrade chefs Nikola Rosić, Krsta Simović and Nenad Atanasković, also a judge in the famous culinary TV show Master Chef, designed a dinner in seven gangs especially for this occasion. The inspiration for the recipes was drawn from the local climate, nature and terrain. The menu included local foods such as game, forest fruits and herbs from Divčibare, and the special charm of the evening was obtained by the preparation of food on an “open flame” grill, directly in front of the guests.
Thanks to the mountain environment without light pollution, visitors literally “reached for the stars”, enjoying the fine-dining concept and conversation under the galaxy starry sky.

ENTERTAINMENT AND RELAXATION
After a day full of adrenaline and culinary delights, the guests rested in an exclusive nearby hotel in the center of Divčibare. The next morning, refreshed and full of impressions, they headed back to Belgrade.
