Available in two palettes, the Beosound A5 in Natural Aluminum Aluminum edition with paper fiber embroidered front and light oak handle evokes the feeling of a light Scandinavian summer on the beach, while the Black Anthracite Aluminum version paired with a mask and dark oak handle exudes a forest aesthetic in winter. Both palettes blend beautifully into both the interior of the home and the natural environment, delivering the best of Scandinavian design.
AN ICON IN A NEW FORM
Beosound A5 represents the point of contact of two philosophies. The oak handle makes it easy to move the speaker from room to room, whether you’re placing it on the floor, shelf or table. On the other hand, thanks to the IP65 resistance to water and dust, Beosound A5 can also be taken outdoors, on trips without any problems. With a battery that lasts more than 12 hours and a wireless charger integrated into the top panel, the Beosound A5 is the perfect portable audio companion. Control is possible using an elegant interface or directly via the Bang & Olufsen app.
The elegant curvature and natural materials of the Beosound A5 speaker pay homage to the edges and handle of the Beolit 607 speaker, launched in 1961. The teak surround of the Beolit 800 and Beolit 1000 loudspeakers, originally designed by Jacob Jensen in the late sixties and early seventies, also influenced GamFratesi Studio’s design when working on the Beosound A5 loudspeaker.

Beosound A5 provides a grandiose feel wherever it is placed. Four drivers with four digital amplifiers deliver 280 watts that fill even large rooms with dynamic 360-degree sound. Consisting of one woofer with a diameter of 5.25 inches, two mid-range speakers with a diameter of 2 inches, and one tweeter with a diameter of 0.75 inches, the Beosound A5 represents the pinnacle of both design and sound.
While it draws aesthetic inspiration from the Beolit series, it relies on the technology of the Beolab 90 and 50 hi-fi speakers. Beamforming technology, an innovation first used in the Beolab series, now allows the Beosound A5 speaker to control the sound with high precision. This creates an enchanting experience that far exceeds all expectations.
