Today, through his company Avantgarde Group, he brings Salpa boats to the Croatian and Slovenian markets with unwavering confidence in what he represents.

From a Childhood at Sea to a Trusted Brand
Francesco was introduced to the sea at an early age. His first endeavours were straightforward and hands-on — working with scooters, managing boat rentals, handling technical details. Each step brought him greater experience and responsibility. Working in service and dry dock facilities taught him patience and precision. During this formative period, he built what is most essential in this business: client trust. His reputation developed organically — through dependable service, punctuality, and transparent communication.
The Turning Point: Encounter with Salpa Yachts
A pivotal moment happened almost by chance. Francesco came into contact with the Italian shipyard Salpa Yachts, and his innate curiosity and passion led him directly to the heart of their operations — the production process. He spent nearly a year within their manufacturing facilities, observing every detail, from initial construction to final finishing touches.
Simply representing the brand was insufficient for him. He wanted absolute certainty that he was offering his clients the finest and most reliable product. He was determined to discover what truly stood behind the Salpa name — and to witness firsthand whether these vessels were worthy of navigating the Adriatic while delivering safety and comfort to their owners. This meticulous approach earned trust and led to a deeper partnership, which evolved into exclusive import rights for Salpa boats in Croatia and Slovenia.

Biograd Boat Show 2025: A Stage for Premieres
The Biograd Boat Show represents the next significant milestone. Avantgarde Group will present the Salpa Soleil 52 (a Croatian market premiere), alongside the already established models: Soleil 33, Soleil 42, and Soleil 26.
However, Avantgarde Group is taking it a step further. The boat show will not merely be an opportunity to showcase vessels — it will serve as a venue for connection and enjoyment. In partnership with long time friend and collaborator Enerico Krluk and his restaurant Capri on the island of Kaprije, visitors will be treated to an exceptional gastro-nautical experience. Over four days, the show will weave together the sea, boats, and exquisite cuisine into a unique experience for both current and prospective clients.
