The Horizon V68 model was created in collaboration with world-renowned designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett (JQB) and its hull design was from Stimson Yachts of New Zealand. The unique vertical bow affords a generous beam and reduces drag at lower displacement speeds. The larger hull beam not only creates greater stability and increased interior spaces, but also provides a superior cruising experience.
Designed from bow to stern to incorporate every amenity desired aboard a large yacht and styled at the hands of a global superyacht design team, the V68 has been developed in response to one question: What is the largest vessel two people, or perhaps a small family, could use to comfortably and safely discover the world of yachting?
Voluminous & Luxurious Interior
Customization is a special feature of the V68, and owners are given the choice of at least two major layout options for each deck. With nearly 48′ of open living space, the V68 offers a unique sight line looking right from the forward dining settee to the aft swim platform.
The salon accommodates seating for eight guests with huge glass windows for a panoramic view. The design emphasizes unobstructed views to enhance a feeling of spaciousness with an open salon that flows into a large joined galley and country kitchen.
The spacious galley, with an island breakfast bar, can be integrated with a lower helm or a country kitchen. Full-size appliances and an abundance of cabinets and countertop space round out this functional area.
This V68 offers a three-cabin layout with a private and spacious master stateroom located midship. As privacy is a luxury, all three cabins are ensuite with truly practical space. The master foyer is three square meters and leads you to a (6m) full beam master stateroom – space much larger than most yachts up to 80 feet. Two additional ensuite cabins – one large VIP cabin at bow and a twin cabin at starboard – offer space for additional family members, friends or guests.
Numerous Outdoor Spaces
Space for enjoying the outdoors is maximized aboard the V68, which offers a spacious sunbathing and dining area for eight guests forward on the bow. A bar on the aft deck services both, the interior and exterior spaces. The V68 also features options for a utility room, crew quarters or a beach club – customizable to your boating lifestyle and needs, just like a superyacht.
The open flybridge features a bar with dinette seating under the hard top. Removable seating with table and chairs is an option for the boat deck to entertain more than 20 guests. Horizon has also managed to offer a dayhead for the open flybridge as a great convenience.
Featuring all the qualities of a superyacht – advanced systems, safety, design, luxurious finishes and options for customization – the Horizon V68 is an ideal motor-yacht for first or second-time owners, families and owner-operators.
