As a result of collaboration between renowned shipbuilder Norbert Ferretti, hull wizard Brunello Acampora and owner of Solaris, Giuseppe Giuliani, the motor yacht Solaris Power 48 Open was created. As the successor of the models from the same line, the Solaris Power 55 yacht, which has gained praise of experts and sold in several units even before the official launch at the Cannes boat show, the Solaris Power 48 Open yacht retained all the benefits of a traditional American lobster-style boat, but upgraded with innovations that follow market trends.
Solaris Power 48 Open is characterized by buoyancy, functionality and safety. The vessel comes in two-engine option, both Volvo Penta IPS, 600 and 650, and reaches a speed of 35 knots. The state-of-the-art propulsion system, perfectly aligned with the hull lines, provides a range of about 300 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 20 knots. Noise level during navigation is reduced to the minimum, and so are vibrations. Thanks to the joysticks, maneuverability is increased and stability at anchor can be attributed to the unique shape of the hull. In addition, the yacht is characterized by low fuel consumption and low carbon dioxide emissions. Easy access to engines and machinery is provided in a large engine room equipped with a modern and efficient ventilation system, and yet another advantage is the large tender room.
The benefits of the Solaris Power 48 Open do not end with technological advancements. It is characterized by new folding sidewall solutions that increase the cockpit surface by as much as 20%, which in turn contributes to the width and comfort of the boat itself. Interior layout is also optional. Both solutions have a large sleeping cabin equipped with wardrobes and space for a vanity chest. This cabin is extremely bright – during the day thanks to the windows that can be opened, and at night due to the LED lights that provide a comfortable atmosphere. The crew cabin is located in the bow of the vessel. The main difference in the layout of the interior is the second cabin with two beds and a bathroom, which in one option has been replaced by a comfortable living room. In addition to the Open, the Solaris Power 48 also comes in Hardtop (featuring a comfortable sun-top) and Flybridge options.
The world premiere of this impressive motor yacht was staged as part of the Cannes Yachting Festival, which took place from September 10 to September 15
