The International Nautical, Hunting and Fishing Show, 41st specialized regional event dedicated to enthusiasts and users of all types of vessels, water sports and diving, hunting and fishing equipment, nautical, camping and outdoor equipment, was held from 1st to 5th March, in the grand Hall 1 and 4 of the Belgrade Fair.

More than 100 direct and indirect exhibitors and other participants in specialized programs from Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia and Turkey took advantage of the opportunity to present current trends and novelties from different segments of domestic and regional nautical markets, as well as hunting and fishing activities, from industrial and economic to sports, recreational or tourism. The visitors, a total of 11,548 persons, saw the offer of speedboats, yachts, sailing boats, boats, scooters, inboard and outboard engines, equipment for water sports, training, charters and other segments of nautical tourism. A significant part of the exhibition program was intended for river boaters, enthusiasts of the Sava, the Danube, lakes and other waterways. This diversified offer was completed by the sale of used vessels, as well as by the varied offer for those who enjoy racing, rafting and other sports-recreational-tourist activities that are possible on the water potential of Serbia. There were also claims that this was the “best offer so far”. This year, an increase in the number of showcased items, primarily displayed vessels, was clearly visible, so the organizers have already begun to consider relocating a part of the “nautical display” from Hall 1 to Hall 4, which traditionally “belongs” to hunters and fishermen.

This year, the most popular domestic and international nautical brands, including those most famous in the exclusive boat sector, were also present. They were presented by CTC Unit, Goga YCI, Inteh-V, Go Paddling, Mitan Marina, Como, Efel Motors, ENC Star Trade and others.

It appears, however, that the seemingly “neglected” segment of the event – hunting and fishing – was even in a more visible expansion than the nautical segment. The number and variety of exhibitors, more than 40 of them, along with the quality of the exhibits, managed to justify trust and fulfill growing demands of the visitors.

Instead of the conclusion, not a small number of exhibitors noticed that this year among visitors was noticeably more of those who bought something than those who came just to enjoy the beautiful ambience. Enough food forthought to decide how and in what direction to lead this traditional yet promising nautical event in the future.
