Quality and reliability of their boats quickly positioned Mimi Shipyard on the market and the company obtained their well-deserved reputation in the nautical world
MIMI Shipyard, which was founded in 1975, quickly began to export their first boats worldwide. This family shipyard developed systematically year by year and their progress was clearly visible through expanding of the product range of vessels, ranging in length between five and 13.5 meters. Tradition was passed from generation to generation and today we have vessels that feature a combination of classical appearance and modern construction.
By using the latest vacuum infusion technology in hull production, the company builds beautiful high-quality vessels embellished with decorative wooden parts placed along the entire edge of the hull.
The product range of the Italian shipyard also includes an exclusive 13.5-meter yacht: Libeccio 13. Apart from being the largest yacht in the range, she is also the best equipped model for longer voyages. Combination of traditional and modern style is what makes this yacht interesting and functional for cruises, but also for parties, fishing, socializing and relaxation on the water. The strength of this vessel is in her comfort and in the underwater part, because the shape of the boat has been adapted to market requirements, resulting in a semi-displacement yacht.
The rounded stern and the large aft platform are noticeable at the first glance. Beneath the platform, a sliding ladder is installed to facilitate getting out of the water for swimmers. The whole platform construction is made of stainless steel.
The cockpit has a large, upholstered seating bench in the open air, and this is an ideal place to enjoy the cruise. In that part there is also a covered semi-open area with a galley and a dining room, protected from external influence and hidden from view.
Below the bow deck there are very well planned cabins for a total of six persons. In the central part, you can find two cabins that span the entire beam of the boat, then the bow cabin precisely fitted in the shape of the hull, and a head compartment.
Appeal of the external appearance is further enhanced with a practical wide bench fitted on the bow and a large sundeck. This part of the boat is of open and provides a perfect view of the horizon. The deck is used as an ideal place for sunbathing and comfortable relaxation in the open sea.
Libeccio 13 is powered by two 440-horsepower inboard diesel engines, which deliver excellent speed. The skipper’s instrument panel is well- equipped, with a Garmin display for monitoring the course and navigation parameters, providing all the information necessary for the helmsman. There are numerous switches for the navigation lights, electric anchor winch, fan, bilge pump, and horn. The controls for the engine, acceleration, and the selection of the desired direction of propeller rotation are modern and adapted to electronic controls.
