The latest speedboat for 2018 is by her concept the successor of the Cap Camarat 8.5 WA model, but features much more modern equipment
Interior of the new Jenneau model, Cap Camarat 9.0 WA, will delight all those who appreciate maximum comfort. High sides of the hull, flat deck and open cockpit fully protect the cabin which holds a small galley section, a sleeping area, and a large closed head compartment with a separate shower cabin, as well as the cabin in the central part of the boat, fitted with two berths. Particularly impressive is the central control panel with three connected seats, positioned high and equipped with armrests and half-height backrests.
At the very first glance, it is clear that this is a robust boat with outboard engines, made by Yamaha, providing power of 500 hp in total. Her steering and navigation system is supported by Law Marine navigation and Yamaha display for engine operation control. There are also safety waterproof switches, throttle gas lever with trim switches, bow thruster controls, a compass, and the helm for steering the motorboat.
If we take into account good 360-degree visibility, both during anchoring and for navigating, as well as easy access to the bollards when docking in marinas, then we realise that this is a safe high-speed motor boat. Her spacious aft cockpit is particularly interesting, including a nicely equipped galley block, located in the middle of the boat and covered by a large protective roof.
Thanks to the strong configuration of her design and the traditional V-hull, for the design of which the credit goes to Michael Peters, this is a powerful and stable boat, as the hull ensures safe cruising and easy steering at sea, makes this model suitable for family weekend outings and for short excursions.
Cap Camarat 9.0 Walk Around was introduced for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September last year, and anyone who missed the chance to see the boat in France could get a closer insight into her features at this year’s Dusseldorf Boat Show.
