IN CONTACT WITH NATURE: Benetti Seasense 67m FB268 fosters a privileged relationship with the environment!
This year’s Monaco Yacht Show hosted a 67-meter long yacht Benetti FB268. Seasense is a super-yacht that originated from collaboration of the Italian shipyard and Dutch designer Cor D. Rover.
Charm and huge volume make Benetti FB268 Seasense stand out among the futuristic, latest vessels created under the Azimut-Benetti Group brand. The sleek exterior lines were outlined by her Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, and the result of his first alliance with Benetti was developed at the engineering office of the shipyard, while the contemporary styled interior was conceived in joint efforts of Benetti’s design team and a studio from the Los Angeles area. The yacht contains six awesome suites for 12 guests. She is a super-luxury yacht with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
Her name “Seasense” depicts the very essence of the concept of this super-yacht, as this is a project that fosters a privileged relationship with the environment. The owner wanted an abundance of outdoor areas to in get closer contact with the sea. In particular, on the main deck there is a large swimming pool with a sunbathing area directly connected to the main lounge, which additionally increases the size of the open space thanks to the large sliding doors.
This yacht is powered by two Ceterpillar 35C12C engines, 1380 kilowatt each, which achieve a maximum speed of 15.5 knots. With a cruising speed of 12 knots, the cruising range is estimated at 5,000 nautical miles. The dimensions of the yacht (length of 67 meters and beam of 10.80 meters) and four decks are sufficient to indicate her size.
